Redmond Magazine Recognizes Colligo Contributor

I just got my June edition paper copy of Redmond Magazine and noticed a nice mention of Colligo on page 12 in Executive Editor Lafe Low’s “The Low Down” column. I subsequently found it on the web.

I’m pleased that he recognized the power of the Outlook integration that Colligo Contributor 2.1 brings to SharePoint users.

Archiving e-mails and documents is a requirement in this world of regulatory compliance. Just keeping them in a massive digital shoebox won’t do you much good when it comes time to retrieve or manage all those files.

We’re really proud to have been named a Best of Tech Ed Award finalist in the SharePoint category. Just to have been named alongside companies like CorasWorks and Quest software is a great honor. Congrats to Genese and the team at Tech Ed. We’re keeping our fingers (and toes) crossed for you!

Partnership with Apptix

As Michael Sampson mentioned recently in a post on his Michael’s Thoughts blog, Colligo recently announced a partnership with Apptix. If you don’t know Apptix, they are a successful hosting provider that offers “managed messaging and collaboration solutions for small and medium businesses, serving more than 130,000 end users.” They have marketed their SharePoint hosting through SharePointSite.com and have provided an introduction to SharePoint to many early adopters over the years with their offers of 30 day free trials.

This partnership is pretty unique, I think. Apptix customers can now purchase Colligo offline SharePoint products directly from the Apptix site or through their direct sales force. Now Apptix customers will be able to take advantage SharePoint whether they are online or offline.
